This project is customized die springs for Huawei automatic production molds. The client put forward strict requirements on temperature resistance, load tolerance and fatigue cycles, and standard springs cannot meet the working conditions. We received the drawing requirement in March 2025. 

The first two prototype versions failed the lab test on fatigue life and high-temperature deformation. Our engineering team adjusted the heat treatment process of 35CrMo steel, optimized wire tolerance and shot blasting surface treatment. We sent 6 batches of samples for repeated durability and high-temperature aging tests. We reviewed test data together with Huawei engineers after each test and adjusted the spring force curve continuously.

In June 2025, samples passed all third-party lab tests of Huawei, and mass production plan was confirmed. Mass production started in July. Every spring was fully inspected on load, outer diameter and free length, and 450,000 pcs were delivered in 3 shipments. Stable supply has been maintained after delivery. The client placed new development orders for another 2 spring models.

We solved tough working condition problems of high-end automation molds through repeated testing and iteration, helping reduce production line downtime.
