Overseas Customer Factory Audit & Discussion on Custom Die Spring Cooperation
Recently, a team of mold manufacturing customers from Russia visited our factory for on-site inspection and quality assessment. They focused on examining the mold spring production process, the heat treatment workshop, the testing laboratory, and the quality control system. They also discussed in-depth technical issues regarding non-standard customization, delivery schedules, and quality standards.
The customers mainly deal in precision stamping molds and injection molds. They have been providing components for automotive parts and electronic components for a long time. Previously, they purchased imported mold springs, which were constrained by delivery schedules and prices. They planned to find a stable custom spring supplier in China. During this visit, the customers toured the entire process from wire entry inspection, coil spring forming, heat treatment, surface sandblasting, both ends grinding, pressure testing, fatigue inspection, and finished product packaging. They also inspected samples of different load levels of mold springs on-site and verified the material, hardness, compression curve, and tolerance control.
During the technical communication session, the customers expressed their demand for customizing various special-shaped mold springs and special high-temperature-resistant springs. Our engineers conducted preliminary calculations of stiffness and compression parameters based on the customer's mold drawings and simultaneously introduced our customization capabilities: in addition to standard JIS mold springs, we support reverse development based on drawings or samples and can provide pressure test curves and material certificates to meet the requirements of overseas OEM supply chain audits.
The customers expressed their approval of our heat treatment process, online pressure sorting, and fatigue testing capabilities. They reached a consensus on multiple sample orders on-site and planned to conduct mold machine tests first. After the tests were stable, they would switch to long-term batch cooperation. As a spring source factory, we welcome global mold customers to make appointments for on-site visits for quality assessment, and we also support remote video audits. We do not engage in one-off trade and aim to become a stable elastic component partner for overseas mold manufacturers. We will continuously provide stable, traceable, and customizable mold springs and coordinate with customers to shorten the mold supply chain cycle.
